DESCRIPTION
ALLOY STEEL ASTM A182 GR F11 FLANGES are important for heavy assemblies where impact forces are encountered. Alloy steel flanges can work efficiently in the concentrated level of chemicals such as nitric acids, phosphoric acids, acetic acids even in higher temperatures. These flanges can be used in any complex piping assembly. These flanges are well suited to convey harsh organic and inorganic compounds.
CONCLUSION
F11 flanges have relatively low weight, thus it makes assembly convenient. However, these are machinable with standards machines and required low speeds and depth cuts. Both cold and hot forming operations are preferred for the fabrication process. Manufactured range of flanges should be processed from annealing or hot working operations. Moreover, alloy steel flanges are processed from cold working operations to attain desired mechanical properties.
